Archimede Seguso Polveri Pink & Gold Leaf Glass Shell Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass shell bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of clear and cranberry pink glass filled with gold leaf inclusions. This bowl was made by Archimede Seguso, using their polveri technique. Unmarked, but I have had this same design before that still had the scalloped factory label.

Size

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
