Murano Vintage Copper Aventurine & Filigrana Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's/60's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of blue, brown, dark purple and white filigree strands and copper aventurine.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of minute fleabites or scratches to the rim, shown in 3rd from last picture. Also there are a couple of small white marks inside the glass from the manufacturing process, they seem to be clusters of tiny bubbles, shown in final 2 pictures.
