Barbini Murano Pink & Clear Glass Ribbed Biomorphic Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian biomorphic glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Barbini, no marks or labels, but bowls from this range can be found online with their factory label. In fact at the time of listing this, I have another in this shape, listed separately, that still has the label. In a stunning combination of pinkish purple glass encased in clear glass, with vertical horizontal ribbing pattern.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has one small nibble to the outside rim, shown in centre of final picture.
