Description

This is a magnificent Venetian purple & white marbled glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 49. No label.

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a burst manufacturing air bubble to the inside, not visible unless you looks straight down into the vase, shown in final picture.
