Description

Here is a beautiful large and heavy 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, and designed by Ermanno Toso. Similar items from this range can be seen in the book "Italian Glass: Century 20" by Leslie Pina, pages 168 - 171. In a stunning combination of green and opaque white cased glass, with copper Aventurine patches.

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 11.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
