Fratelli Toso Murano Aventurine Art Glass Dish/Bowl

Description

Here is a beautiful large and heavy 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, similar items from this range can be seen in the book "Italian Glass: Century 20" by Leslie Pina, pages 168 - 171. In a stunning combination of blue and white cased glass, with patches of golden coloured copper aventurine swirls!

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 11 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of small nicks to the rim, shown in final pictures.
