Fratelli Toso Murano Aventurine Art Glass Dish/Bowl

Description

Here is a beautiful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, this pattern can be seen in the book Fratelli Toso Italian Glass 1854-1980 by Leslie Pina, page 163. In a stunning combination of opaque white Lattimio cased glass, with patches of golden coloured copper aventurine with thin blue stripes.

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
