Fratelli Toso Murano Copper Aventurine Glass Fish Bowl

Description

Here is a beautiful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl / ashtray in the shape of a fish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, and designed by Ermanno Toso. Similar items from this range can be seen in the book "Italian Glass: Century 20" by Leslie Pina, pages 168 - 171. In a stunning combination of blue + opaque white cased glass, with golden coloured copper aventurine inclusions.
