Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Orange & Amber Glass Stem Vase - Label

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of reddish orange glass encased in amber glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original factory labels.

Size

Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a few minute fleabites to the rim, and a small manufacturing dimple to one side, all shown in final pictures. Also worth mentioning, the curved section of the amber lobes near the base are not equal (see pics), but this is how the vase was made, and not the result of restoration.
