This is a magnificent Venetian glass lidded trinket bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  Made by V Nason & C., part of their Avventurina range, unmarked. In a stunning combination of black and blue glass with lots of copper aventurine inclusions.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.
