Vetro Artistico Veneziano Murano Red Glass Aventurine Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and distributed by Vetro Artistico Veneziano. In a stunning combination of orangey red and creamy white encased glass, with tonnes of copper aventurine inclusions encased in the glass.

Size

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 7.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a flake chip to one of the upright sections of the rim, very hard to spot, just feels a little rough. I've tried to show this in the final picture.
