Murano Blue & Uranium Yellow Sommerso Glass Vintage Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in uranium yellow green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.  Glows bright green in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 6.75 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of really minute fleabites to the base rim, and a couple of light surface scratches, all shown in final pictures.
