Murano Italian Red & Amber Sommerso Glass Vintage Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of orangey red glass encased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nibble or flaw to the base rim, shown in final picture.
