Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Green & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of green glass encased in blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a few tiny nicks to the base rim and top rim, shown in final pictures. There are also a couple of faint ripples in the glass from the manufacturing process, see pictures.
