V Nason & C Murano Faceted Brown & Amber Sommerso Glass Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by the V Nason & C factory, and still bears the original label (worn), which reads "V Nason & C, Murano, Italy". In a stunning combination of brown glass encased in an angular block of amber glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 6.25 inches tall by 2 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite nick to one side edge, and a surface scratch to one side, all shown in final pictures.
