A large and very heavy (1.7kg unpacked) Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original generic Murano label to the base, which would have read "Made in Murano, Italy".Size
Measures approx 8 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.Condition
