Murano Blue & Amber Sommerso Glass Vintage Triangular Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass triangle shaped bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of blue glass encased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 8.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny nicks to the base rim, and a surface scratch to the top rim, all shown in final pictures.
