Cristallo Venezia Murano Blue & Uranium Sommerso Glass Sculpture Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. Very similar pieces with the same star shaped base can be found online with labels that read "Cristallo Venezia, CCC". In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in uranium yellow green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 8.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a minor manufacturing flaw (raised air bubble), shown in final picture.
