Unusual Murano Pink & Uranium Sommerso Glass Dimpled Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent vintage Venetian sculptural glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. An unusual shape with large dimples and scalloped rim. In a stunning combination of pink glass encased in uranium green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique. Glows bright green in UV light. No makers marks, and I could find none similar online, but from the colours and style I think the most likely maker is Arte Nuova / Pustetto & Zanetti.
