Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass stem vase in the style of a jug, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in uranium yellow glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. The small amounts of uranium in the glass cause this vase to glow bright green in UV light.

Measures approx 11.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
