Tall Murano/Sommerso 1950's Red & Amber Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful tall 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Possibly by Seguso Vetri d'Arte or Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of ruby red glass encased in amber glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 11.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of really minute fleabites to the rim, shown in final picture.
