Murano/Sommerso 1950's Red & Amber Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful tall 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of red glass encased in amber glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 12.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a few tiny nicks to the rim, shown in final picture. Also mentioned for accuracy, the vase has a very slight lean to one side.
