Murano/Sommerso 1950's Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of dark blue glass cased in paler blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 10.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just some minor internal staining from use.
