Murano/Venetian Red & Blue Sommerso Glass Vase

Description

A Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of red glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 7.25 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing flaw/dimple to the base rim, shown in final picture. Also a couple of small surface scratches and some faint manufacturing swirls in the glass which would not show up on camera.
