Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in uranium yellow green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. The small amounts of Uranium in the glass cause this vase to glow bright green in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 10.25 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
