Murano Vintage Blue & Amber Sommerso Glass Swan Sculpture

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass swan sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 9.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small surface scratches.
