Murano or Franco Toffolo Vintage Glass Clown Figurine

Description

A quirky Murano, or Murano style glass sculpture of a clown. With no marks or labels, these can be hard to identify, as they were made by several different Murano factories, and were also made by Venetian Glass Company, which was a glass works in Blackpool, England, set up and operated by Franco Toffolo in the 1960's - 1980's. Franco previously worked for Venini in 1946-1950. He moved to the UK in 1965 and set up Venetian Glass Company, which made Murano style glassware including clowns.

Measures approx 7.25 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
