Murano Silver Leaf + Murrine Canes Red Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a 1950/60's Venetian glass bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with silver leaf and multicoloured murrine canes All of this is surrounded with an outer casing of red glass.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a fleabite to the base rim, and a slightly uneven top rim (manufacturing flaw), all shown in final pictures.
