Here is a Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano
, near Venice, Italy, by the Oball
factory, and sold by the retailer Bucella Cristalli
. In a combination of red and blue glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso
technique. Still bears the original Vetro Artistico Murano
(VAM) consortium label, with the number code "004"
that was assigned to Oball. Also signed to base "Vetreria Renzo Bucella, Murano"
by the owner of the shop.
