Lindshammar / Alsterbro Swedish White Hooped Glass Vase

Description

A stunning Scandinavian white cased glass 'hooped' vase. Made in Sweden in the 1960's, unmarked. An interesting design, this vase, or at least a design very similar, can be found with Lindshammar or Alsterbro labels. It was most likely designed by Gunnar Ander, who was chief designer at both factories in the 1960's, when they had the same owner. When the Alsterbro factory closed, all production was then moved to Lindshammar. Labelled examples: [Lindshammar] [Alsterbro].

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of very faint manufacturing lines/ripples in the glass. Barely noticeable at all, impossible to photograph, and only mentioned for accuracy.
