Isle of Wight Studio/Harris 'Azurene Black' Glass Cylinder Vase

Description

A beautiful black glass 'cylinder' vase with gold + silver leaf inclusions, designed by Michael Harris in collaboration with William Walker in 1978, for his renowned British glassworks Isle of Wight Studio, part of the Azurene Black pattern range. The base colour is actually a dark midnight blue, which appears black unless held up to the light. Still bears the factory label on the base (very worn).

Size

Measures approx 6.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
