Wedgwood Brown + White Glass Cat RSW406 or SG440

Description

A stunning British speckled brown + white glass paperweight sculpture of a cat. Made by Wedgwood, unmarked. There were two different cat designs made by Wedgwood, and two different pattern numbers documented (pattern number RSW406 (later SG406) and SG440). Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anywhere that links each cat to the relevant pattern number. From the range of animals + plants designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson and Paul Miller in the 1970's.

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
