Whitefriars #9691 Baxter Ruby Red Glass 9" Textured Bark Vase

Description

A beautiful large and very heavy (1.7kg unpacked) ruby red & clear glass "Bark" vase, from the textured range designed by Geoffrey Baxter for the renowned British firm Whitefriars, pattern number 9691. Shown in catalogues 1967 - 1974.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing flaw (small lump of ash?) inside the glass, two inches up from the base, shown in final picture. Does not breach the outside layer or cause any sort of bulge.
