Monart MC.VII Pale Blue & Copper Aventurine Vintage Glass Bowl

Description

A small Monart pale blue and black mottled glass bowl with speckles of copper aventurine, and whorls pattern. Made by the Scottish Moncrieff's factory in the 1930's/40's, pattern number MC.VII. Breaking the pattern number down, MC is the shape number, and VIII is the size. Unmarked but has the classic Monart base finish (raised pontil and flat outer ring), and residue on the base where their circular factory label would have been placed.

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
