Description

A wonderful, large, and very heavy (1.5 kilos unpacked) Czech glass sculptural bowl / ashtray. In a stunning combination of pink glass encased in clear glass. Made by the Chřibská glassworks, pattern number 422/4/18. Shown in a 1970's Chřibská catalogue, and issue 9 of the 1986 Czech Glass Review, see last images (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz). Most likely designed by Josef Hospodka.

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
