Welz Bohemian Lemon Yellow & White Spatter Glass Vase / Jug

Description

An 1890's Bohemian variegated lemon yellow + white blown glass vase in the style of a jug, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass, with hand painted enamelled decoration. Most likely made by the Franz Welz factory.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a nibble to the bottom end of the applied handle, shown in final picture, and some wear to the enamelled decoration.
