Japanese Orange, Black & White Vintage Glass Bud Vase - Labels

Description

Here is a wonderful orange, black & white striped glass bud vase, made in Japan. Items from this range can be found with import labels that read Nasco, Japan, or Kamei America Group, Inc, Made in Japan, or simply Foreign. Nasco and Kamei are both believed to be wholesalers / distributers. This example has three labels: The Nasco label mentioned above, a label which reads "opaline", probably the name of the pattern range, and the remains of the retailer label for "J. M. Fields", the department store where they were sold. This label dates the vase at somewhere between 1950 - 1979, when the store closed.

Measures approx 7.75 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
