Pair of Victorian Green Glass Antique Posy Vases

Description

A beautiful pair of Victorian 1890's green glass posy vases with crimped rim, shallow vertical ribbing + polished pontil marks. Possibly made by British manufacturer Stuart & Sons, from the famous glass making area of Stourbridge, although other makers from that area such as Stevens & Williams, Thomas Webb and Richardson could have made similar. A similar vase is attributed to Stuart & Sons, circa 1895, in the book Victorian Decorative Glass by Mervyn Gulliver, page 159.

Size

Measure approx 2 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a really minute "blemish" to the rim of one vase, which is so small I'm not sure if I should class it as a fleabite or a scratch. Shown in final picture.
