Stölzle Vintage Czech Art Deco Green Glass Flower Trough / Bowl

Description

A wonderful art deco green glass flower trough / bowl. A popular use for these was as a table setting to hold flower heads. Made by Austrian company Stölzle in the 1930's, and produced in their Czech based Heřmanova Hut factory. This pattern is shown in the catalogues on the CD that accompanies the book Sklo Union - Art Before Industry by Marcus Newhall.

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 7.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny nicks to the base "feet" on one side, shown in final pictures.
