Walther Art Deco Uranium Glass Peter Pan Centerpiece Figurine

Description

A wonderful art deco frosted green glass 'Flötenspieler' (flute player) figurine, also known as 'Peter Pan' by collectors. Made by German company Auguste Walther & Söhne in the 1930's, and is featured in their 1934 product catalogue. Made in uranium green glass, which glows brightly in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite nick to one of the girls fingertips on the base rim, shown in final picture. Also mentioned for accuracy but difficult to capture on camera - some areas of the frosted finish are a little less frosted than others, which seems a common occurrence in this design (I currently also have one in pink with the same finish). Lastly, could do with a clean, the black marks in the pictures are just dirt/dust.
