Victorian Vaseline / Opalescent Glass + Silver Epergne Vase

Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's glass epergne vase with silver plated base / holder. Made in vaseline/uranium pale green glass, which glows in UV light, with large curved Cranberry pink and white opalescent rim. Most likely made by one of the British glass factories from the Stourbridge area of England, such as John Walsh Walsh, Richardson or Thomas Webb.  There are EPNS markings on the silver plated base (see pic).

Size

Measures approx 6.5 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of nicks to the base end of the glass, shown in final picture.
