LABELLED V. Nason & Co Murano Amber Glass Dolphin Sculpture

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian sculptural amber + clear glass dolphin, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by V. Nason & C., and still bears the original factory label.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The tips of the tail have been ground flat to give a stable base. This is perfectly normal, as I have had this same design before, in different colours, and they are all made in exactly the same way.
