Wedgwood Speckled Glass Whale Paperweight RSW234 - Marked

Description

A stunning British speckled pink glass paperweight sculpture of a whale. Made by Wedgwood, pattern number RSW234 (later SG234), marked to base. There are two versions of the whale, one with a rounded head and one with a flattened head, this is the flattened version. From the range of animals + plants designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson and Paul Miller in the 1970's.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of base wear scratches.
