Murano Zanfirico Red & White Glass Gold Leaf Courtier/Dancer Figurine

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass male courtier/dancer figurine, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree, and red ribbons, with gold leaf inclusions. Excellent, careful packing guaranteed for this delicate piece.

Measures approx 8 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

I have carefully examined this piece all over, and the only damage I can find is a tiny nibble to the back of the figure, on part of the applied white decoration to his arm (the tip of one of the little frilly bits is missing). Shown in final picture, and obviously not really visible when on display.
