LABELLED Archimede Seguso Murano Sommerso Glass Candle Holder

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian glass candlestick holder, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in pink glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the sommerso technique. Made by Archimede Seguso, and still bears the original scalloped Archimede Seguso label on the base (worn).

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
