Murano/Venetian Red & Amber Sommerso Glass Beak Vase

Description

A Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5.75 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, but has signs of a very minor restoration to the tip of one of the pulled sections of the rim, where a tiny chip may have been ground out. Hardly noticeable at all, and shown in final picture.
