Seguso Vetri d'Arte? Murano Pink & Amber Glass Clover Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic pink & amber glass sculptural clover leaf shaped bowl or ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Quite possibly made by Seguso Vetri d'Arte, the design is very similar to their pattern number 7610, which was designed in 1942, and is shown in the excellent book Seguso Vetri d'Arte - Glass Objects from Murano (1932-1973) by Marc Heiremans, page 113. The design is also shown in the online archives provided by Archivi del Centro Studi del Vetro. However we cannot say for sure, as it is possible other factories made a similar design. I have found this same design online with a generic blue and silver label that reads "Genuine Venetian Glass, Made in Murano, Italy". Reference: [click here].
