Archimede Seguso Murano Pink & Blue Sommerso Glass Geode Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass 'geode' bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by the Archimede Seguso factory, no marks or labels, but I have had this exact same design before (same shape and colours) which had their scalloped "Murano Glass" label to the base. In a stunning combination of pink glass encased in pale turquoise blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small surface scratches, shown in final pictures.
