Scandinavian / Swedish Blue Opal Cased Glass Vintage Vase

Description

A beautiful Swedish / Scandinavian blue glass vase with inner opal white casing. Still bears the original Hans Geismar "Swedish Art Glass" import label to the side, and has a generic "Made in Sweden" label on the base. Manufacturer currently unknown, but the style and colour are a close match to other designs by Elme Glasbruk, and both labels are also commonly found on other vases by Elme.

Size

Measures approx 8.75 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There is a very faint line around the middle of the vase, which looks like a faint surface scratch, but it is exactly at the widest point of the vase, and at the time of listing I currently have another identical vase with the same line, so I think it is from the manufacturing process. Shown in final picture.
