Description

A stunning Scandinavian green glass 'Cherry Elsinore' bottle/carafe. Made by Holmegaard of Denmark and designed by Ole Winther in 1962 for Cherry Elsinore, a producer of cherry wine in Denmark. Has an embossed seal of the initials C.E. and a crown. This design is based on the earlier 1955 'Viking' design by Winther.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
